[Sidefx-houdini-list] How to emit grainy particles from texture

I'm new using Houdini and I'd like to know if someone has a clue of how to
emit grainy particles (emited from volume, not surface) from a texture.
Let's say, a mud ground with textures on it.
I was thinking in use the "Cd" variable to match the nearest pixel color
but without success.
