[Sidefx-houdini-list] in linux moving nodes with shift or ctrl causing crashes.

Hi

I'm using RHEL 6 at work and haven't  had issues like that, works nice
make sure you have desktop effects off under
System > Preferences > Desktop effects
should be set to STANDARD

Other stuff could be to check if you have the correct gcc build for your
system.
