to stick something to a surface you need some kind of surface-adhesion force,
you could fake it in using the reversed normal of the surface as a force-field.
But i'm not sure if that helps that much, for some goey strings of
drool i've used chops & lag.
For some flying off stuff you still could use some sph-particles
