At first I didn't read it was slow motion and I thought it was CG 
because it behaves so much different from what we're used to see.

In this one in perticular 
http://www.wired.com/thisdayintech/2010/02/gallery-lightning/ we see 
lots of very strong ones appearing very fast. I don't understand because 
in real speed they would spark so fast. Does it mean our eyes are not 
fast enough to actually see those.


On the same topic, it's an old one but still very interesting.
