Not *DIRECT* but I've been using dem2dxf.  Not ideal, but it works -- most of the time.  you could probably do some clever hackery using the unix sop.

Does anyone know of a way to bring dem data directly into Houdini?
I know terragen brings dems in via 3dem, and there's a Houdini
terragen SOP - but I'm wondering if there is a more direct route?
