[Sidefx-houdini-list] adding isocurve on nurb surface

Use the refine sop, don't extract them. Once they are extracted they just become seperate curves.
To edit them in place just use an edit sop, unfortunately you can only edit the points that make up the hull not the actual isoparms.
To directly edit the surface look at the clay sops. Curve clay and clay. Sadly they aren't as easy to use as the edit sop.

hope this helps a little.

Subject: [Sidefx-houdini-list] adding isocurve on nurb surface
hi all,

i'm working on a nurb surface modelling, after modeling some shape, i would like to add some isocurve on the surface for further modelling... i used carve sop and extracted some curves (keep original), the extracted curves appeared to form part of the nurb surface... however when i use transform sop to modify the extract curves, somehow they detached from the surface and don't affect the surfaces...

so how do i add isocurve on a nurb surfaces and form part of it?

cheers herman
