Having used attribute transfer, You could use CHOPS to then clamp the the 
point colours
to positive values (presuming it was black in the first place) - by using 
the Lag CHOP and clamping the slope?
   I think that's what I used for foorprints in the past...

Hi all ,
i'd like to create small colored dots on a surface where particles collide. 
Can you guys give me some advice ?
I'm thinking about using the attribute transfer functions.
