The Pass Filter, Parameteric EQ and Band EQ CHOPs will allow you to
filter out various audio frequencies. For example, for low sounds, you
could use the Pass Filter set to 'Low Pass' and High Cutoff to 100Hz.
For cymbal hits, you can use the same CHOP with 'High Pass' set and Low
Cutoff at 2000Hz.

The Band EQ acts exactly like a stereo's EQ. The Parameteric EQ has all
sorts of effects (echo, pitch shift and filtering) but for your
purposes, you could use it as a notch filter (parms on the first tab).

After that, you can use an Envelope CHOP to compute a low-sample-rate
envelope curve, and the Trigger CHOP to trigger a waveform on spikes.
