Yeah, once I got it working (and I did have a pain getting it there) I 
stopped fiddling anything.  Is there any known circumstance that tends 
to trigger a fault?  I'd hate to discover a weakness at three in the 
morning with an eight o'clock deadline.  If I can detect and robustify 
any problems during my current moment of slackitude, I would definitely 
do so.
