yeah Joel, this is right on
track with what I needed to do.

the particles are definitely doing the
right thing. The new particle birth at the
split may cause some problems ( I was
scaling over $LIFE as well as stamping different
bubble shapes in SOPs). However,
I think I can work my way around those
obstacles.
